The city of Jaca, located at 7 km  from our B&B, has a rich history. The city was the first capital of Spain during the Roman Empire. The Roman cathedral was built in the 11th century and possesses one of the most important collections of medieval art in Europe.

Ciadudela Jaca

Also in Jaca, you can find an impressive castle in the city centre. This castle is still fully intact and surrounded with (dry) canals. Next to that, Jaca has a belfry and a beautiful Roman bridge, which is still be used by the pelgrims on the road to Santiago the Compostella

On a 31 km drive of our B&B you can visit the former monastery of the benedictines San Juan de la Peña.

This monastery is Unesco world heritage and absolutely worth a visit. You can visit both the old and new monastery.

In Canfranc, at approximately 30 km of our B&B, you can find a megalomaniac railway station. At the opening, in 1928, this was the largest railway station in the world. The location is very special, the station is located in the mountains in a very narrow valley.

Serrablo kerk

At approximately 15 km of our B&B starts a tour along 14 different Serrablo churches, built in the 10th century. They are the oldest still existing christian churches in Spain. Sporty people can make the tour by bike.

Somewhat further from our B&B you can visit the castle of Loarre. This magnificent medieval castle is one of the best preserved Roman castles in Europe. To our opinion this is a must do. Further more, you can combine this excursion with the natural treasure Mallos de Riglos.
